About the Creator

Hi, I'm Petra, founder of The Lit Twis't, professional yapper about books, and someone who has never met a bookstore she didn't want to spend all day there- so I opened my own 🤌🏽. I created this space because I believe some books deserve more than just some annotations and notes- they deserve full discussions! bell hooks is one of those authors for me, and her work has deeply shaped how I think about love, community, healing, and growth. She's the kind of writer who will have you highlighting every other page, questioning everything, and texting your friends paragraphs in the middle of the night because you need to talk about it immediately. So naturally, I had to turn that experience into a summer school where we can read deeply, reflect honestly, and grow together. 📚✨💛
